The Culture Cup roster is picked by the people — which means it’s picked by you. No registration fee, no gatekeeper, no DM. Just post your clip and let the work speak.
A 30–60 second clip of your best football. Pitch, cage, park, beach — the surface doesn’t matter. The ball does.
Upload to Instagram, TikTok, or X. Public account only — we need to be able to see it.
Tag @culture.cup and use #CultureCup2026. Captain tag optional. Deadline August 01.
Technical ability on the ball. First touch, close control, decision-making — the basics, executed at a high level.
Flair, tricks, something we haven’t seen. The clip that makes a selection panel replay it twice.
Camera presence, energy, voice. How you carry yourself on and off the ball.
Clean footage, good light, watchable edit. Clear audio and picture. No rights-managed music please.
No. Sunday league, university, semi-pro, freestyle — everyone gets to submit. The selection panel (captains + coaches) picks on technique and personality, not pedigree.
Not at all. Submissions are open globally. Players selected for the final roster receive flights and accommodation to and from Washington DC for match weekend.
Yes. Multiple entries are allowed. Just make sure each one tags @culture.cup and uses #CultureCup2026.
Absolutely. The roster is open. The 2026 edition will field mixed-gender squads.
Four teams, 20–30 minute matches, round-robin into a final. Full rulebook is released with the draft-day broadcast.
Your captain posts a welcome video. You fly in the weekend of the event. You get kitted out, meet your team, train, play, and — win or lose — join the roster for every future edition as an alumnus.
